Angelique Boileau arrived in Australia with her mother and sister as a refugee after escaping Russian-occupied Hungary during October 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
After a career as a flight attendant with Ansett Airlines, the proud South Australian held positions in multiple organisations in Melbourne until her return to South Australia in Oct 1989 to start up Boileau Business Technology, over the years transforming it into a leading Information Communication Technology company.
One of the first female IT business Managing Directors, Angelique has an excellent reputation as a strong business person and is sought after as a mentor for businesspeople and people in the general community.
A mother of two daughters and grandmother of four, Angelique is a committed philanthropist, supporting the Arts - organisations like the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Adelaide Festival of Arts, Her Majesty Theatre, conservation of animals via Zoos SA.
She is also unwavering in her support of those less fortunate, volunteering hours and providing financial support to several charities, including Vinnies CEO Sleepout, Service to Youth Council, Hutt Street Centre and the RSPCA.
Boileau Business Technology has recently partnered with SAHMRI to help find new solutions for Parkinson's Disease.
Angelique has been recently recognised for her work in the community by being a finalist in the 2019 Senior Australian of the Year Awards and will receiving the West Torrens City Civic Award on Australia Day for 2020.
