New members are chosen for membership in Rotary because of their standing in their vocation and in the community, and also because of their personal qualities which will make them a good Rotarian.
By joining the Rotary Club of Adelaide, you become part of a world-wide organisation of business and professional leaders who are united in fellowship to provide humanitarian service, to encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to create goodwill and achieve peace throughout the world.
A benefit of membership is the regular enjoyment of the fellowship of like-minded individuals in a non-competitive and egalitarian atmosphere, not only in this club, but anywhere in the world where Rotarians gather. There is also a great deal of personal satisfaction to be gained through involvement in the projects undertaken by Rotary.
Types of Membership
Rotary Club of Adelaide provides two types of membership, these being:
Friends of Rotary
This is designed for people who support the ideals of Rotary but who, for various reasons have not been able to continue with, or take on, Individual or Corporate Supported Membership.
