ASMF Blanket Appeal - please click here to donate>

The Advertiser Sunday Mail Foundation (ASMF) Blanket Appeal is undertaken in conjunction with The Advertiser and Sunday Mail, with the objective of assisting disadvantaged people by providing warm blankets during winter months.  Over the recent past approx 2,000 blankets per year were delivered to various charities that provide services directly to needy families and people to ensure that the maximum benefit is received.

The Rotary Club of Adelaide assists with the appeal by providing its website to collect donations electronically and by arranging the allocation and distribution of blankets to charitable organisations.

The ongoing aim is to raise enough money to fulfil the ever increasing requirements of the charitable organisations and community groups that are registered with the appeal.

Blankets will be delivered to the charitable organisations and community groups and these organisations will then distribute the blankets to those in the community who might otherwise struggle to stay warm in the winter months.

Each year the number of charitable organisations and community groups that register with the ASMF's Blanket Appeal increases. With your help we can aim to meet the increasing demand of supplying warm, Australian made quality blankets to disadvantaged South Australians in need.

The blankets are mainly supplied by Creswick Woollen Mills in Victoria.
